Zak Kruger

Zak Kruger is an experience coach who comes to Ursinus College from Seton Hill University where he was the Women's head coach from 2019-2021. Kruger holds a USSF "C" and USC  Advanced National License as well as a USC National Goalkeeping Diploma. In 2021, Kuger was named to the United Soccer Coaches 30 under 30 program a national program that recognizes some of the best coaches under 30 years of age around the nation..

Prior to SHU, Kruger spent 2018 as the head coach at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. Prior to Wilson, Kruger was a graduate assistant at Shippensburg University for two seasons.  While at Shippensburg, Kruger coached four all conference and one all region  player. He also spent time at Millersville and Lancaster Bible College as an assistant. As a player, Kruger helped Millersville to two PSAC semifinals and one NCAA Quarterfinal as a goalkeeper. Kruger has worked with several professional clubs as an assistant  coach including the Baltimore Kings, the Harrisburg City Islanders, and the Hershey FC National Premier Soccer League.

More recently he has been the PA West ODP Girls Head Coach and has coached with the Pittsburgh Hotspurs Soccer Club where he has won regional and state championships in addition to being a national finalist in the 2021 USYS.   

Kruger is a head coach of 2 E64 teams and assists with both U23 Shamrock teams.
